Movie Predicts Bush Administration Back in 1982

The movie is called "Wrong is Right", starring Sean Connery.

A buffoonish US President from Texas (with a token black woman on his White House staff) finds out (during an election year) that an Arab terrorist group is planting two bombs in the World Trade Center in NYC.

His critics say there is no evidence of these WMDs. In the end, he "finds" the bombs and uses it as justification to invade the Arab country he suspects of planting them. The Arab country, it turns out, had nothing to do with the planned WTC attack. Actually, the CIA planted the bombs as part of the president's re-election strategy. (This fact remains a secret from the public).

Even though the president has the lowest approval ratings ever, he gets a boost from the unjustified war in the Middle East and wins re-election (and his cronies in Texas get control of the Arab oil fields).

This little clip is but a small fraction of what seems like an impossible string of coincidences.

Pentagon Confession: Booming Exportation of Death

Watch Thomas P.M. Barnett with the U.S. Naval War College (Senior Strategic Researcher) describe how what Eisenhower termed as the military industrial complex is disappointed with the frugality of the U.S. taxpayer when it comes to “Defense Spending”, so he’s proposing we are in a race with China for World Empire (Globalization), and that the showdown between the U.S. and China is about 20 years out. The U.S. taxpayer, he’s decided, will not fund an ongoing preparation for this World War they see off on the horizon unless there is constant threat. So their plan over the last few decades and into the future is to offer protection (won’t attack or impose sanctions) to countries who are willing to become Americanized (buy our debt). Just like mafia extortion. He goes on to explain how they impose sanctions on countries who won’t be our “Security Partners”, killing children (even admitting to the number of children under 5 yrs they’ve killed, since these aren’t included in civilian casualty estimates provided to the public) in order to cause blowback for the wars they “dream up”.
He says that he and his are taking a “your either with us or against us” approach to Globalization. When I turned it off, he was showing the Pentagon’s new map of target territories for either “Americanization” or sanctions/war plans.

There’s no way the powers that be at the Pentagon were going to let Libby go to jail.

2007 National Defense Authorization Act overturns Posse Comitatus Act

In October 2006, Bush signed into law the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007. Quietly slipped into the law at the last minute, at the request of the Bush administration, were sections changing important legal principles, dating back 200 years, which limit the U.S. government's ability to use the military to intervene in domestic affairs. These changes would allow Bush, whenever he thinks it necessary, to institute martial law--under which the military takes direct control over civilian administration.

MoveOn.org goes NeoCon

MoveOn.org is a political action group with over 3.3 million members, of which I have been one since 2002. Their original function was to bring real Americans back into the political process. And it worked. But...

It appears that MoveOn.org has reached "Washington Insider" status and has been somehow corrupted by the system. While their members are anti-Iraq War/Treasury-looting, and are willing to defund the war if that's what it takes to get our soldiers out of the meat grinder, MoveOn.org has taken a "continue funding the war" position. This flies in the face of MoveOn's member's wishes.

Like Nancy "Impeachment is off the table" Pelosi, MoveOn.org has evolved into controlled opposition for the NeoCon war-profitiing machine.

"MoveOn put out a dishonest poll that did not offer its members a real choice to end the war, and now the peace movement is lobbying activists to reform MoveOn or drop off its list," said David Swanson, a board member of Progressive Democrats of America, said in an e-mail to The Politico. "I unsubscribed from MoveOn this morning."
